Victoria Day Camporee 1999:
The "X" Files......

A new "X FILE" has been opened, and we need your help!  The case load of the FBI has grown beyond the capacity of its current manpower.  A request is going out to all interested Scouts to come and assist us in solving a new case......

Thus began our trip to the annual Hamilton Wentworth District Victoria Day Camporee, held over the May long weekend at Camp Nemo in Burlington.  Traveling with 2 Scouts from 35th Burlington, and a Scub* from our Cub Pack, we split into a junior and senior patrol for 3 days of fun competition with over 600 other Scouts.  While both groups did really well, our "Senior Patrol" (a.k.a. The Slinky Cobras) managed to snag the "Most Knots Tied" prize thanks to P.L. Will and his repertoire of 18 different knots.....
