Adventure On The
Ottawa - Part 2
June 28 - July 2, 2003 - Gatineau Park
The next day was Canada day and we went down to down town Ottawa to join in all the Canada day celebrations. There we saw parachute's coming down from the sky, and parades up and down the streets. There was changing of the guard and Prime Minister came and did a speech. We walked around some more and then met up at the war museum. We saw Hitler's Mercedes Benz. When we saw the fire works it only lasted about 15 minutes. when we got back we tried to look for Oscar, and the two cubs.
The next day we got ready to leave and head home. It was a long drive home it took 13hrs to get home including stops.
The camp overall was okay. I think that the food could have been better and there should have been more of it. Also I think that the white water was far too tame. Also I think that there wasn't enough resting time, the activities were too close together. Also a lot of kids were really disappointed that they didn't get to go to the concert. The camp was pretty good but there is always room for improvement.
