Troop Ski Trip
February 15, 2003

With the smash success of last year's Troop Ski and Tubing Trip, it required little debate to decide to hold another one this year.  This year, through the efforts of APL James of the Polar Bears, the Troop returned to the Snow Valley Ski Resort near Barrie for our 2nd Annual Trip. For this event, Scouters Liz, Graham, MJ, and Bill took a hearty crew up of 13 Scouts up for another fun day on the slopes.  Polar Bear PL Lawrence's entire family joined us for the event!

This year was a bit colder than last, with temperatures as low as -20C.  But once on the hills it was nice and sunny, and the ski conditions were great.  Scouter Bill, for the first time in years, strapped on a pair of skis and took a few runs down the kiddie hill.  Next year, on to bigger things...like the rope tow.....
