Hamilton Military Museum Visit
February 28, 2002

By popular vote from the Scouts, the Troop went over to Hamilton for our February 28th meeting to visit the Hamilton Military Museum. The Military Museum features a presentation of Canadian military history covering the land, sea and air forces from about 1800 to World War I. In our case, they demonstrated to us the life and times of soldiers who were camped on Burlington Heights during the War of 1812. The Scouts also got to try their own hand at planning battle strategy in an interesting board game.
