After a harsh, snowy winter, it was time for something warm! 15th Burlington welcomed spring with our beach party on March 22. We all came to the meeting in our favorite beach attire! We had a special inspection with points for the most beach-related items (sunglasses, sunscreen, Frisbee, etc.). We also had beach music, games, and a beach picnic/campfire.
In April, we joined the Scouts for a day expanding our grey matter at the Ontario Science Centre.
Once again this year, the Pack took part in the annual Burlington District Scoutrees for Canada tree planting. The Pack assisted over 160 Scouting members from Burlington in planting 1000 pine, red oak, and maple trees at the former landfill site on the North Service Road. The trees will provide cover for the wildlife living in the woodlots surrounding the site.
